The LIFE TECMINE project fosters the transfer of knowledge to new generations of professionals

Coinciding with the planting work in the Fortuna mine, last February 25 and 27, the project received the visit of students from the Forestry Exploitation training module of the San Blas Integrated Public Training Center in the province of Teruel.

SIBELCO is the landowner and the concessionaire of Fortuna mine and is carrying out the mine restoration work. The visit was organized by SIBELCO and was aimed at raising awareness of the LIFE TECMINE project and the innovative techniques that are being used.

During the two days, representatives of the consortium explained to the students the project, the techniques used and how they are implemented in the field. The attendees saw the area after the modeling of the terrain with the technique GEOFLUV. They also had the opportunity to see live how the plantation is carried out and how they are going to execute the micro-basins that will facilitate the survival of the plants.
