LIFE TECMINE project Restoration works have just begun

The environmental restoration of the Ademuz mine has begun with earthworks. This is the first step in the reconstruction of a landscape previously altered by mineral extraction.

The machines are moving the extracted, non-marketable material, which will serve as the basis for modelling the morphology of the landscape again.

Before these movements, the topographic survey on field was carried out using GPS techniques, which delimits the new forms of the landscape with stakes and indicates to the operators where to place the material.

One of the novelties of this project is the monitoring of the works by real-time recording with TIME-LAPSE camera. The cameras are already installed and recording from the beginning.

We are waiting for you on our Twitter and Facebook channels to see the works and discuss the project with you!
