- Different points of view enrich and improve the design of the restoration On 21 and 22 March, Valencia hosted experts in different fields of mine restoration, internationally renowned, within the framework of the LIFE TECMINE project.

- ECOMED and TECMINE are two projects of the European LIFE programme that have found common ground that can strengthen the results of both projects.

- Scientists from the Complutense University of Madrid tell us how it will be implemented in LIFE TECMINE

- The CEAM working group tells us what they are working on. The main role of CEAM Foundation within TECMINE project is to develop effective techniques related to the restoration of soil quality and to install native plant communities in the quarry restoration area mimicking native ecosystems.

- The first coordination meeting of the TECMINE project took place on 28 November 2017, attended by the external monitor of the NEEMO agency, assigned by the European Commission to this project.

- El pasado día 20 de noviembre tuvo lugar la presentación del Proyecto LIFE TECMINE (Innovative Techniques for Mine Restoration) en la reunión de la Mesa Forestal celebrada en Valencia.

- El proyecto LIFE TECMINE, impulsado por la Dirección General de Medio Natural y Evaluación Ambiental de la Conselleria de Agricultura, Medio Ambiente, Cambio Climático y Desarrollo Rural, fue presentado el pasado 20 de enero en las IV Jornadas Minería y Desarrollo Sostenible, organizadas por la Coordinadora por la Serranía Viva en la localidad valenciana de Villar del Arzobispo.

Other events: LIFE TECMINE participates in Quarries Alive Congress in Portugal on quarry restoration
- Quarries Alive 2018, organised by the University of Évora (Portugal), and focused on Enhancing Biodiversity and Ecosystems Services in Quarries, was held on 2 May. The exchange of experiences from scientific research projects, technical engineering approaches, innovative companies and pilot studies focusing on improving biodiversity in quarries provided the framework for a productive congress.
